Below are a few photos from Lee and Karen Duquette's first camping trip in their motorhome (RV) before selling their house and everything in it, and leaving Florida for full-time traveling. To test out the RV locally, they went to Peace River Campground in Arcadia, a city and county seat of DeSoto County, Florida.

Peace River Campground offers a mile of riverfront on the Peace River. They love full hook ups sites and primitive camping sites.

Below: Lee Duquette came across a sign warning about alligators and snakes. Shortly thereafter he came upon an alligator and wrestled it to keep Karen Duquette out of danger. Such a brave soul!
