Paynes RV Park
( a Passport America park)
7970 Bellingrath Road
Theodore, Alabama
phone: -'251.653.1034
May 1, 2015

Paynes RV Park is located about 5 miles from Bellingrath Gardens, and not too far from Mobile, Alabama. Amenities included: Picnic area, phone, laundry, clubhouse, cable TV and LP Gas. There were separate roads to enter and exit the campground, which is great because that means each is a one-way road and safer. The entrance road and exit road were paved, but the roads within the campground were dirt roads, which is not unusual. (see photos below)

The campground brochure listed Wi-Fi but Wi-Fi was not available at the site of the two RV Gypsies. It may or may not have been available at the clubhouse; the two RV Gypsies did not go to the clubhouse, laundry, shower area, or picnic area. They spent all of their time out of the campground.

TV channels that came in were ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC. Check-in time and check-out time was NOON. Standard campground rules applied, including no vehicle washing, no refunds, NO GENERATOR use, no clotheslines, no outdoor carpets over 6 feet by 8 feet in size, and more. Be sure to get a brochure upon checking in here.

A swinging bench was in-between the site of the two RV Gypsies and the next RV site, sites 73 & 74. It was very dirty.
