Lee and Karen Duquette visited
their friend Phyllis Faulkner, who lived in Ankeny, Iowa.
They took Phyllis to dinner at The Fletcher Kitchen and Bar. The Food
was very good and well-portioned. The restaurant was busy, but service
was efficient. The restaurant was very large because it used to be a
full-sized grocery store. |

After
dinner, Lee and Karen Duquette returned to their Phyllis' house in Iowa
for coffee and desert.
Thank you Phyllis Faulkner. Karen Duquette is very thankful to have
you and other friends throughout the USA to visit while traveling.

UNFORTUANTLY,
Karen Duquette looked up Phyllis Faulkner and found out that she passed
away on November 5, 2019. She was survived by 3 children, Sandra Kovac
(who Karen was friends with in Florida) John Faulkner and Jacquelyn
Komplin. Phyllis had five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Phyllis once worked in wholesale distribution, was an
editor for a farm production magazine and enjoyed being an elementary
school substitute teacher. She finished her career as a real estate
agent and was a member of Ankeny Christian Church. Karen will always
miss Phyllis and her daughter Sandy. |
