The two RV Gypsies had lunch at the Pig Restaurant because it had a whole bunch of award trophies for best BBQ in its windows.
The BBQ sandwich was amazing, but the restaurant did not have any air conditioning, just fans, and so it was very hot inside. (It was 95 degrees outside). Service was fairly quick, even though the restaurant was very busy. It was the busiest restaurant on Beale Street, so therefore it was noisy inside. The atmosphere and style reminded the two RV Gypsies more of a diner, rather than a restaurant. But again, the BBQ sandwich was excellent - BUT see the note below. |
