Below: After crossing the railroad tracks, the two RV Gypsies were not sure where the restaurant was located. At first, they thought the sign shown below was telling them to go straight after crossing the railroad tracks. But that was a dead end that just led to the Potomac River. Then they realized that the sign must be tilted and they had to drive down the rocky road shown below, which ironically had a house hidden by the trees.

Tim's River Shore Restaurant is known for its home-cooked seafood and scenic views of the Potomac River. However, when Karen Duquette asked about the crab cakes, she was told that they were NOT fresh crab, but frozen, so Karen was quite disappointed. It also turned out that there are two separate kitchens here, so her food and Lee's food came out with quite a bit of time in-between.

Anyway, Karen ordered the steamed clams and wanted something else, but the server was rushing her, so she then ordered the hot dog, which Lee had already ordered, plus baked beans. The steamed clams were mushy and so extremely tiny, they could barley be seen, and had no taste. After two bites, she told the server she did not want them. They had to talk to the manager in order to get it off the bill. No napkins were given to them and no spoon for the baked beans.

There was a narrow porch that led to a bit of seating around the corner by the Potomac River. Entering the narrow porch, the two RV Gypsies did not like the looks of the dirty tables on the patio, so they decided to sit on the benches facing the water.

Below: It was a beautiful day and the two RV Gypsies enjoyed the view, even though they did not enjoy the food.
