This campground had 105
sites and covered a large area. The roads were dirt roads, which is
normal for most campgrounds. However, the dirt roads were fairly wide,
which is a good thing.
The site the two RV Gypsies got was grassy, long, and had trees and
50-amp full hook-ups. The campground Wi-Fi was
not working, but the two RV Gypsies used their own Wi-Fi. No
TV. Barking dogs not tolerated. Yippee!
Even
with all the empty sites on this date, they put 4 RVs right in a row.
Lee Duquette chose this place because he wanted to go to Tahquamenon
Falls and Pictured Rocks. But Karen Duquette told him that
they had already been to those falls. so, they booked a cruise to Pictured
Rocks, but the cruise got canceled due to weather.
The campground had a pool, and surprisingly it still had water in
it even though it was after Labor Day, but of course nobody was in it
because the weather was quite cool. Other amenities: basketball net,
mini golf, bike rentals, horseshoes, a pavilion. None of which mean
anything to the two RV Gypsies. |
