Note: Comments made here do not make the campground good or bad in general. They are just the personal observations of the two RV Gypsies on a certain date. For reservations, phone: -'515.987.1714 |
The two RV Gypsies stayed at Timberline Campground for one night because they wanted to visit their friend, Phyllis Faulkner who lives nearby. It was a nice campground with a nice paved entry, very long sites, dirt roads, 5 TV stations, a recreation hall,, laundry, showers, and other amenities that the two RV Gypsies did not use. The campground Wi-Fi worked okay at sites. Of course it was off-season, so the pool was closed. A $25 cleanup fee, or more, may apply if campers leave their site messy. Most standard campground rules applied. Storm shelter located in the bathhouses. The office had an interesting store inside - see photos below.Check-in and Check-out time was NOON on this date. |
