Balzac Campground was huge.
It had a fence completely around it and a gate at the entrance with
a code to get in or out. On this date, the cost was $40 a night. As
seen in the photo below, the roads were dirt/gravel with lots and lots
of big mud holes, some with water in them and some without water in
them. It was very rough driving in the campground to get in or out of
sites. And the sites were not long enough for the big rig of the two
RV Gypsies and their toad. As seen in the photo below, the toad of the
two RV Gypsies blocked part of the street behind the RV (and that road
had ditches on the far side of it). |

Some of the campground rules:
Maximum
2 adults per site, additional $5 per person. If not checked out by 11
a.m. then $20 would be charged to your charge card that you checked
in with. (WOW - that is steep and there's more). Any garbage debris
left behind on a campsite, there will be a clean-up fee of $60 put on
your charge card. No generators allowed. $10 pet deposit upon guest
arrival (2 dogs maximum per site). No refunds after check-in. One vehicle
per site.
Wi-Fi
only at office, not at site. No TV. TRAINS were
heard at night, which Karen hates. The campground map showed
109 sites. No laundromat. No pool. No recreation hall. Not a very good
campground in the opinion of the two RV Gypsies.

not make the campground good or bad in general. They are just the personal
observations of the two RV Gypsies on a certain date. |
