Below: Travel roads and scenery on the way from Alberta to British Columbia and Northern Lights RV Park. |

Below: The two RV Gypsies drove through Peace River Regional District, and Pounce Coupe, and other small towns to get to Northern Lights RV Park. |

Below: Northern Lights RV Park had 92 sites that were fully serviced with P/W/S (30 and 50 AMP), Wi-Fi, and TV. There were new bathrooms and laundry as well as a meeting facility for larger groups and caravans. "There is ZERO tolerance for partying in the park. No washing rigs. No parking or mats on grass. No oil changes. Bathrooms and laundry are in the building directly across form the office. No outside shoes are permitted in the building. Remove outdoor footwear in the designated mud area". (what?) - quote from their rule sheet. The two RV Gypsies were glad they do not need to use the campground bathrooms or laundry rooms.Internet is for light surfing only and had a password. It was a bit slow on this date. TV hook-up was at the post and available channels were 2-13. Check-out time was 11 a.m. |

Below: The view from Northern Lights RV Park - photo taken around 10 p.m. at night. Still bright. |
|
There was a grocery store across the road from the campground, and a library 1/2 block to the left on the service road. The Signpost Forest is one-block to the right on the highway and a must-visit place. The underlined link will bring you to the 2009 visit, and a link at the bottom of that page will bring you to the 2016 visit. It is an amazing place and both sites have different photos and information. |
|
Note: Comments made here do not make the campground good or bad in general. They are just the personal observations of the two RV Gypsies on a certain date. |
This is not a linear site, so there are always choices of where to go next: Below are two choices. |
