Yukon Motel & Lakeshore Resort
|
|
This campground was a Good Sam Park and had gravel/dirt roads and 30 amp electricity only. No water hook-up, no sewer but a Dump Station free with fuel fill-up.No cable TV, no TV stations came in via antenna, free Wi-Fi was only available in the restaurant. Yet it was $31.50 a night. However, there was a gas station right there and a restaurant. Showing the campground map while getting gas/diesel saved 4-cents per liter on fuel. There were showers and a laundry shown on the map, but the two RV Gypsies did not use them. They did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on the food there. The campground map shows 63 sites, plus tent areas. There was a free Wildlife Gallery next door that was nice and those photos can be seen on the Village of Teslin page and reached through the link at the bottom of this page. |
Yukon Motel Lakeshore Resort is a motel, campground, restaurant, and gas station. Motel and campground guests save 4-cents per liter on gas. The gas station was always busy even though there was another gas station across the street with the same prices. |

Note: Comments made here do not make the campground good or bad in general. They are just the personal observations of the two RV Gypsies on a certain date. The two RV Gypsies are not "campers". They live full-time in their RV, their only home. |
This is not a linear site, so there are always choices of where to go next: Below are two choices. |
The RV got towed from Teslin to another repair shop in Whitehorse and the two RV Gypsies got a room at Days Inn in Whitehorse. They were in the hotel from June 23 - July 5. |
