Sparrow Pond Family Campground is family owned and operated, located 20 minutes from Presque Isle State Park. They have full-hook-ups, heated swimming pool, catch and release fishing pond, a playground, recreational hall, game room, rental hall with kitchen, dump station, and a small laundry room with 3 washers and 1 dryer. Pets must have documentation, so check their website for that information. Now and then, a temporary stage in the front of the campground had dancers and other entertainment and lots of people came with chairs to enjoy it. But the two RV Gypsies were always too busy sight-seeing outside of the campground.

As usual, the two RV Gypsies did not use anything in the campground except their own site. The picnic table was in good shape, which is unusual in most campgrounds. But the two RV Gypsies seldom eat outside anyway. Wi-Fi did not come in at their site (although they had ONE hotspot somewhere on the grounds). No cable TV, but a few channels came in via antenna. It was not worth $60 a night, in the opinion of the two RV Gypsies.
