Lee and Karen Duquette,
The Two RV Gypsies: Full-Time RVers

at the Alpine Country Store and Campground
17568 North Highway 95 (at Garwood)
Hayden Lake, Idaho
August 11 - 13, 2015
(for reservations phone: -'208.772.4305)

Lee Duquette picked this campground because it had a gas station right by the office that was easy to get the RV into. The sites were nice, long, and spacious, with some grass on the side and trees for shade. The roads were dirt roads.

unhappy faceThe water pressure was very low. The campground Wi-Fi was not working. TV gave only a few stations. Trains came by often, with very loud horns blasting even late in the evenings after bedtime.

It was a small campground but had rest rooms, showers and laundry, all of which the two RV Gypsies never use. Two vehicles allowed per site. Charges apply for early EXITS (what is that?)

Most standard campground rules applied such as no washing RV's, clean up after your pets, no horseplay or rowdiness allowed in the park, and check out time was 11 a.m.

What did the two RV Gypsies hate about this place? The trains mostly, and the lack of working Wi-Fi and decent TV and the campground made the two RV Gypsies change sites on the second night for no apparent reason.
