Bass Lake Campground
|
When the two RV Gypsies checked into this campground, they did not receive any paperwork. No rules and regulations, map, or information on the surrounding area. But Karen Duquette did notice a sign in the office that said check-out time was 11 a.m. They got a full hook-up 50-amp site with good water pressure. The campground did not have cable, but enough TV stations came in just fine via antenna. The campground had secured Wi-Fi, but the two RV Gypsies were unable to get it working. There was no pool nor recreation room here. The roads were dirt with a touch of gravel. The sites were fairly wide so that the next RV was not too close. The sites were on nice grass with no nearby trees. But the two RV Gypsies did notice that the sites that looked like the RVs that were parked there for long-term had trees and dirt sites. The campground is on Bass Lake, 5 miles from South of The Border. Because this was a Good Sam park, the price was reasonable, but the two RV Gypsies would not want to pay full price here. There were TRAINS and their horns, day and night. Trains are quite annoying to Karen Duquette, especially at night when she is trying to get some sleep. |
