The
Two RV Gypsies: Full-Time RVers at Fredericksburg/Washington
D.C. KOA
|
This was a nice campground with paved roads and nice gravel sites, although parts of the paved roads could use a bit of fixing (see the above photo). Full-hook up and 50 amp sites were available. This campground had free, unsecured Wi-Fi that was a bit slow, but OK. The water pressure was adequate, but not real strong. Good cable TV with enough stations that came in OK. Trash pick-up at sites 7 a.m. - noon.Campfires must be out by midnight, which is OK because it makes sense, and the two RV Gypsies do not usually have a campfire anyway. One car per campsite but some additional parking was available at the office. The pool is closed after Labor Day, which is standard at most campgrounds outside of Florida. The two RV Gypsies did not use any other amenities at the campground other than on their own site. There were fees and specific hours for visitors. Most rules were standard campground rules. Check-out time was NOON. |
