June 2021 - The two RV Gypsies wanted
to take a rest so they pulled their 40-foot RV (and toad) into a rest
stop off I-84 in the town of Greenville, Pennsylvania. There were
lots of car spaces available where the motorcycle shown below could
have parked, but instead, he took up part of the only space that would
have been big enough for the two RV Gypsies' RV and toad. But with him
there, Lee Duquette did not dare try to park the RV, so they had
to continue driving to the next rest stop.
The motorcycle driver had just pulled in, looked back at the RV, and
got off his bike, and started to remove his helmet. So he must
have been aware of how RUDE AND SELFISH he was being. |

At the next rest stop, the two RV Gypsies
were able to find a spot to park. But they had to wonder why this
car parked in a big spot when there were lots of open spaces. Again,
RUDE AND SELFISH. |

The female in a standard car that parked in an RV spot, came back
from walking her dog. |

While the two RV Gypsies were parked,
they saw a car pull up in front of a parked semi and two people got
out of the car. They got in the middle of the driving lane and started
signaling for the motorcycle to pull in behind them. Good thing the
truck driver did not come back right away and need to get out, because
he would not have been able to. How can people be so rude and lazy! |

Back on the road again. The car shown
below was behind the two RV Gypsies' RV. He kept beeping his horn. Finally,
he pulled around the RV and right smack dab in front of the RV, very
close/. Duh! Look at the traffic. It is not like he was going to get
very far. Besides, it is NEVER safe to pull real close in front of a
big RV or Semi. They can NOT just slam on their brakes, especially if
towing a car because the car can jackknife. RVs can not quickly swerve
into another lane either. The same is true of many of the big trucks
on the road. Hopefully, this will help car drivers become aware of things
they just did not realize. |
