BELOW: A bit later, while Lee Duquette was putting gas in the car, Karen Duquette noticed a big pineapple nearby. So of course, Karen walked over there to take some photos, and even a couple of selfies with the big pineapple. It was by the roadside, so she could not go on the other side of the pineapple because there was not sidewalk there.

Below: Then it was time to check into the hotel. Room 304 was very small and narrow. Karen Duquette kept walking into the edge of the bed that stuck out from the mattress on all sides. There was no closet, and a very small bathroom.

NOTE OF INTEREST: MOST RESTAURANTS WERE CLOSED ON MONDAYS HERE, except for some fast food joints, of course. Lee and Karen Duquette are not big fans of most fast food restaurants, although time or location often demands that that stop at a fast food joint.

Then Lee Duquette drove on into West Virginia and made a brief stop at the Welcome Center (no photos), then they drove on to Pennsylvania Welcome Center where Karen Duquette took a few photos.
