Karen Duquette and her daughter, Renee took a few short breaks for food,
walked around Cheyenne just outside of the hospital, explored inside the
Wyoming Historic Governor's Mansion, and saw some of the painted boots
in the area, while they learned a bit of history. This gave Lee Duquette
some time to TRY and get some sleep while in the hospital. |

Below: Just across
the street from the hospital, there was a small Healing Garden, titled
"Healers of The West." It served as a place to get some fresh
air and just breathe a bit while Lee Duquette was resting in the hospital. |

Below: Karen and Renee took a short walk down the street and around
the corner to a statue and plaque for "Her Honor, The Governor,
Nellie Tayloe Ross".

Behind the statue
shown above, was the Wyoming Governor's Mansion, that is on the National
Register of Historic Places. So Karen and Renee went inside to learn some
history of the area. They did not take any photos inside, but they did
enjoy the narrated tour given to them by a wonderful lady who informed
them of much of the history of the mansion, |

time to take a short walk around the block or so and see what other nearby
sites they could before returning to the hospital, where hopefully, Lee
Duquette was getting some rest. |

Karen walked around the grounds of the Wyoming State Museum. |

Then it was time to get back to
the hospital to see how Lee Duquette was doing. |
