The front-row seats that Lee and Karen Duquette paid top money for had a terrible view because they were directly behind the racetrack fence. Karen was so upset that she refused to sit there and walked out of the stands. Lee followed her and they waited until everyone had taken their assigned seats and then they went high-up in the bleachers to sit. Eventually other people did the same.

They will never attend a Monster Jam Event at Atlanta Motor Speedway again. Not just because of the seating, but because the race track was so long, that whenever two Monster Trucks competed against each other, they were are opposite ends of the track and both could not be seen all of the time. Karen kept turning her head back and forth and therefore, often missed the best actions. It was also hard to take photos.

Below: As usual, the event began with The National Anthem, which on this date, was held on the far side of the big track. So of course, in order to get a photo, Karen Duquette had to really zoom in with her cell phone camera just before it was time to stand-up for the National Anthem. (Real cameras are not allowed at most Monster Truck events)

Somehow, Karen Duquette did not get any photos of Wild Side and Jester competing in Round 1 of racing. But Wild Side defeated Jester.

Below: Next, Excaliber and Sparkle Smash Monster Trucks competed in Round 1 of the Racing Competition. Each started from opposite ends of this very long track. Karen Duquette was only able to take pictures as they approached the middle section, which was where the winning white line was drawn, because she was so busy turning her head back-and-forth to try to see as much action as possible. Even though she takes photos, she still wants to watch the action.
