Lee
and Karen Duquette at their 9th Monster Jam event this time at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina |
Below: It was a cold day, with splotches of snow on the ground in many places. So Karen Duquette did not take a lot of outside photos. It looked like the line was short to enter the building (see the photo below on the right) but once inside, there were several extremely long lines. |
Below: As of this date, this was the most crowded pit party that Lee and Karen Duquette have attended. And for the first time, they did not arrive early enough to be among the first few people in the door. The photo below shows how many people got into the pits before them on this date, and there were a lot of people behind them too. Therefore, they did not have enough time to get all of the Monster Truck drivers to sign their new 2025 book. But that was okay, because only two of the drivers were new to them. |

Below: First, Karen Duquette got Mikayla Tulachka, driver of Megalodon and her brother, Brandan Tulachka, driver of Just Get-ER-Done II to sign her new 2025 book, even though they have both signed previous books for her. Actually it was the 5th time Karen has seen each of them race.Since it was Karen's birthday, she wore a birthday crown, birthday glasses, and a birthday pin on this date. |
Below: Then Lee and Karen Duquette went to Monster Mutt Dalmatian to get Blake Granger's signature, which was one they had not gotten before. |
Below: Then it was time to get Mark Hall to sign Karen Duquette's new 2025 book. |

NOTE: Lee and Karen Duquette did not get Krysten Anderson's signature on this date because the line for Grave Digger was extremely long and there was just not enough time allowed for everyone to get signatures from all the drivers. But since Karen already has Krysten's signature from two previous events, that was okay. This was the most people they have ever seen at a pit party. They also did not have time to get to the Bikers. Surely, a lot of people were most likely disappointed not to be able to get all of the signatures. |
Below: Karen Duquette in her assigned seat waiting for the Monster Jam to begin. OOPS - the Happy Birthday letters decided to hide a bit. Guess they just wanted to be a bit unusual like Karen, or maybe the letters were dancing to the music that was playing. |
