The Roger Williams Park Botanical Center opened in March 2007. It includes two connected greenhouses filled with plants, fountains, a fish pond and morel. It is the largest indoor garden open to the public in New England, encompassing approximately 12,000 square feet of indoor gardens. A wide variety of plants can be found, including majestic 40' tall palms, carnivorous plants, 10' cacti, and succulents. The rose maze is in bloom from June to September and the outdoor perennial gardens bloom with color from spring to fall.

Guided tours may be available. NO PETS allowed in the Botanical Center, the grounds nor the Greenhouses. This is a tabacco-free park. Picnicking is allowed but please bring your own table covering and pack out what you bring in, including recyclables.
