USA map showing the location of NJ

New Jersey is a state in the United States. It is the most densely populated state and at the center of the Northeast megalopolis. It is bordered on its north and east by New York state; on its east, southeast, and south by the Atlantic Ocean; on its west by the Delaware River and Pennsylvania; and on its southwest by Delaware Bay and Delaware.

At 7,354 square miles, New Jersey is the fifth-smallest state in land area, but with close to 9.3 million residents as of the 2020 United States census, it ranks 11th in population. The state capital is Trenton, and the state's most populous city is Newark. New Jersey is the only U.S. state in which every county is deemed urban by the U.S. Census Bureau.

This was a two night stay in a very old hotel that they will never return to. Lee's bed moved at night and his pillows fell on the floor, which is not supposed to happen. The beds were also extra high. It rained the fist night here so Lee went to a nearby laundromat to wash some clothes, and he brought back some food for dinner. Unlike most hotels, there were NO coffee cups in the room, just two plastic cups which could be used when brushing teeth.

Below: The first photo below shows a small hanging space for clothes by the shelves used as a dresser. The seats on the chairs shown in the second photo below were very hard and uncomfortable. But the sink counter was big as was the mirror. there was also a full length mirror. But there was NO soap dish, and no hair dryer.

Below: Air vents in the bathroom -- very very dirty and very unhealthy. Karen and Lee Duquette will never stay here again. Lee cleaned off the vents as best as he could. And as they traveled on, they learned that they will not stay at any Red Roof Inns on future trips, although Lee has already booked a few more for this trip. Each Red Roof Inn got worse and worse as they traveled on this trip.

Karen liked the "Joe Tea" the menu included. The menu featured a variety of options, including Egg Benedict, Waffles, Quesadillas, Paninis, hamburgers and French Fries! Daily breakfast and lunch specials were also available. (everything is always subject to change as time passes)

However, the chicken was too tough to eat, and both Karen and Lee threw their food in the trash. But the chocolate pudding was good.

Leaving here, the road had a wide divider and so all cars had only one way to go. Lee Duquette hade to drive over 8 miles before he got a chance to turn around and go in the other direction, back to the hotel.
