at the Oconee County Veterans Memorial

The Oconee County Veterans Park was established to honor the memory of Oconee County Veterans. Located on the grounds of the Oconee County Courthouse, in downtown Walhalla, the park consists of several memorials honoring the Counties Veterans who have served from the Revolutionary War to the present. The memorial is a long brick wall topped with flags and faced with bronze plaques denoting the wars.
