Lee
and Karen Duquette, The Two RV Gypsies: Full-Time RVers entered North Carolina and stopped for lunch and to "smell the flowers" August 3, 2014 |

Lee and Karen Duquette stopped at the North Carolina Welcome Center. There were LOTS of parking spots for cars, but only a few spots BIG enough for their RV and toad. They found a spot, but had a bit of trouble getting into the spot because they had to maneuver around a small pick-up truck that was in a big RV spot, even though there were plenty of car parking spots. Just for something to do, Karen Duquette photographed the pick-up truck and then the driver drove away, giving Karen a look as Karen took a picture of the driver and the truck. Guess some people think they are special. |

Below: Then Lee Duquette drove the RV out of the Welcome Center and across the street and up the hill to "Grannys Kitchen" for a late lunch. The food was OK but nothing special. The server was polite. Karen Duquette liked the coffee sign on the wall, so of course she photographed it. Photography keeps Karen entertained. |

Below: Back in the restaurant parking lot, there were two semi-trucks, each probably hauling a race car. In case you have not figured it out yet, Karen Duquette photographs anything she can. |
