The Fort Lauderdale boat parade had boats of all sizes, including some paddle boards, all decorated with lights and other fun things. Boat Parades can be found in many different cities throughout Florida.
The Fort Lauderdale Boat Parade staged on the New River in downtown Fort Lauderdale, along the docks west of Stranahan House to the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. The Parade traveled east to the Intracoastal Waterway and continued north to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach. It is 12 Miles of the “Greatest Show on H20.” The parade lasted approximately 2 hours.
Private boats to the giant showboats and corporate mega yachts were adorned with hundreds of thousands of lights, music, entertainment, decorations, celebrities, musical groups, beauty queens and many other exciting entries. |
