This campground had dirty, dusty roads which is not unusual for most campgrounds and KOA's. There were NO sewer hook-ups here, and no Wi-Fi, but the two RV Gypsies were able to connect to their own Wi-Fi. The site where the two RV Gypsies parked their RV was nice. Only two (2) TV channels came in. The indoor hot tub had a big sign that no one under 18 should be in it, but when Karen went over there, two young kids were in the hot tub while their mother and little brother were in the outdoor pool. Karen would have said something to the kids, but the hot tub wasn't hot; it wasn't even slightly warm, so she didn't stay. There wasn't any office, just a guard gate, so there was nobody that Karen could complain to about the hot tub not working properly or kids being in it anyway.
The ice cream sundae social they had cost $3 and they didn't even have whip cream. The last KOA with an ice cream social only charged $1 and had whipped cream. Other than the hot tub issue it wasn't a bad park. The hot tub is about the only campground amenities other than hook-ups that Karen sometimes uses. Mostly campgrounds are just a place for the two RV Gypsies to leave their RV while they go off and enjoy the area. |

The rec room - children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, but of course there's always people who think rules are for everyone but them. The upstairs area was for adults only (see below photo on the left) . |
