The two RV Gypsies and Karen Duquette's sister, Ilse Blahak, rode The Palm Springs Aerial Tram up 12,708 feet in eleven minutes, with the floor rotating twice per trip on ascent and descent. As the tram reached each of the five cable towers, it shook. This was Karen's sister Ilse's first time going up so high and she was very nervous. Most of the photos below were taken through a glass window, but as the tram rotated, there were a few open windows.
