An emergency evacuation notice
was given to the two RV Gypsies when they checked in. This was a Passport
America campground so it only cost the two RV Gypsies $20 a night at
this time. (All prices and information on this page is subject to change
as time passes, and not under control of the two RV Gypsies).
Only two television stations came in here even though the tower was
only about 15 minutes away, and the check-in sheet said that 6 stations
would come in. The campground Wi-Fi was secured,
but super slow, so the two RV Gypsies used their own Wi-Fi. The
sites were nice, long gravel sites. The roads were also nice gravel
sites. The man at the office was very pleasant. Reservations are recommended
as only 4-long sites are kept open. It was a clean, neat campground.
TRAINS and train horns were heard in the evening. Check-out time was
11:30 a.m. on this date.
The two RV Gypsies did not find anything much of interest to do in the area. No other photos were taken in Welcome, MN.
NOTE OF INTEREST: The two RV Gypsies have also been to a town called
Welcome in North Carolina. |
