Below: The RV of the two RV Gypsies in their new yard at Mountain View Campground, in a 30-amp full-hook-up site.
The
Wi-Fi tower was "down" while the two RV Gypsies were
here. But even if it was working on this date, it would cost $5 a day
or $15 a week. No cable TV here and only a few odd TV stations came
in via antenna. No pool. No laundromat. TRAINS
were heard blowing their horns. Train horns always rates an unhappy
face from Karen Duquette, especially if they blow their horns at night.
The roads were mostly paved and the sites had a bit of grass between
sites. RV's were parked facing every-other way, which is nice for various
reasons. On this date, the campground gave 5% off for AAA/CAA members
and 10% off for RV's from LOCAL Rental Agencies. No discounts during
Stampede Season July 1 through July 20. Everything mentioned by the
two RV Gypsies about campgrounds, can maybe change as time passes.
Amenities: Two ponds. Propane available. Showers. Dump station, group fire pits, playground, mini-golf. Their brochure said there were peacocks on site, but none were seen by the two RV Gypsies. No more than 2 pets per unit and each pet must be under 50 pounds. Only 2 adults plus children per unit. Additional adults are an extra fee. The mini-golf and playground require an adult to accompany children at all times. Most standard campground rules applied. Check out was 11 a.m. PROMPTLY. |
