The two RV Gypsies parked their motorhome at Bemidji
KOA in Bemidji, Minnesota. As with most KOA's there were dirt roads in
the campground. The pool was very small, but as usual, the two RV Gypsies
did not use it. Washing vehicles was not allowed. The park had fun bike
rentals, game room, mini golf and a very small heated pool that opens
at noon, weather permitting. Children under 14 must be with parent or
guardian at the pool. Cabins were also on site. Generator use was prohibited.
The two RV Gypsies had full hook-ups with 50 amp electric. The
Wi-Fi was coded and fast. Water pressure was good. They even had cable
TV. The shaded sites were nice.
Bemidji KOA had a campground cafe that delivers food to your site.
When the two RV Gypsies stayed here in 2013, they ordered a pizza and
wings. The wings were over-cooked and really tiny. The pizza was not
cooked; the crust was totally raw and mushy. So they did not order from
the cafe in 2015. The two RV Gypsies did not use anything in the campground
other than their site. Check-out time was 11 a.m. while the two RV Gypsies
were here. |
