Wild West Ranch RV Resort is a 45 minute drive to Phoenix. The two RV Gypsies chose this place because it was the only one they could get on this date and they wanted to visit Lee Duquette's sister in Phoenix. A lot of campgrounds were full or close to full during this entire trip, and the two RV Gypsies noticed that many of the campgrounds had a lot of permanent RVs. On this date the charge was $50 a day for a large pull-through site with full hookups. They also had a weekly and monthly rate. However, no TV came in at the two RV Gypsies site.

The entry and roads in the campground were all dirt roads, which is not unusual at campgrounds. The office was closed when the two RV Gypsies arrived and they were not sure where their assigned parking spot was, so when Karen Duquette saw a man driving past her in a car, she stopped him and asked if he was familiar as to how the campground sites were numbered, because they were confusing to the two RV Gypsies. The very kind gentleman texted the office for information and told us to go to site 33 and he led the two RV Gypsies to their site, which was a long pull-through site.

Below: The great-grandchildren of the two RV Gypsies got Karen Duquette interested in photographing water towers and she is making a special water tower book for them. Below are two water towers that were in this campground. One is a short, old water tower and the other one is a fat water tank with a great design on it, which is definitely one of the favorite water tanks they have seen.
