Lee
and Karen Duquette, |
This was a Good Sam Park. The campground had a wide driveway with easy access from the highway, and the campground was fairly easy to maneuver around corners. Sites were 30 amp. (There is not a lot of 50 amp in Canada). The site map showed about 45 sites, including the group area and dry sites. The two RV Gypsies had full-hook-ups. The water pressure was super low. The campground had gravel roads, and gravel sites with a small grassy area. The small pool was behind the office near the entrance, and the sites for big rigs were near the pool. There was a pay phone at the entrance.Cable TV gave only 5 TV stations. The campground had free Wi-Fi at sites with a code, but it was very slow. There was a heated pool that closed at 9 p.m., plus coin laundry, no-pay showers, plus a separate disabled washroom; all of which the two RV Gypsies did not use. Ice and local honey can be purchased in the office. Pets are welcome on a leash. They charge for no-shows. Most standard campground rules applied.Gate closed at 11 p.m. to 6:15 a.m. You may ask for a key if you are going to be late. No shoes in the shower of any kind. Karen Duquette was glad she does not need the showers because she would never use a campground shower without wearing shower shoes. No washing of anything on the sites. There is a designated area for washing RV's and cars, next to the office. Car wash is coin operated $1 for 4 minutes. Wash fast everyone and have several people help you or it will cost a fortune! Check out time was 11 a.m. on this date. (All times and prices are are always subject to change) |
