Raleigh (RAH-lee) is the capital
city of the U.S. state of North Carolina and the seat of Wake County.
It is the second-most populous city in North Carolina, after Charlotte.
Raleigh is the tenth-most populous city in the Southeast, the 41st-most
populous city in the U.S., and the largest city of the Research Triangle
metro area. Raleigh is known as the "City of Oaks" for its
many oak trees, which line the streets in the heart of the city. The
city of Raleigh is named after Sir Walter Raleigh, who established the
now-lost Roanoke Colony in present-day Dare County. |

As usual, THE
FUN BEGAN WITH THE MONSTER JAM PIT PARTY - Sunday, Juy 28, 2024 - 11:30
AM - 1:00 PM. |
Below: Time for
Lee and Karen Duquette to, once again, see some massive trucks up close,
meet the drivers, and take pictures. This was not their first time at
this fun-filled experience, but they were still excited to see some
different monster trucks and meet other monster truck drivers. Each
even is a bit different. Karen did not take as many pictures of this
event as she has in the past, mostly because her right arm was in a
brace.
BUT, scroll down to meet the drivers and see their monster trucks. |
|
|
Below: There were 4 monster trucks on
the hill in the middle of the arena, Just Get-Er-Done II, Excaliber,
Megalodon, and Kracken. The other 4 trucks were each in a separate corner
of the arena and are also shown a bit further down this page. |

|
Below: Karen Duquette already has a fractured
elbow and wrist, so why is she trying to remove a tooth from the shark,
especially with her fractured arm??? DUH!!!! Nothing can stop the fun,
not even a lot of pain. |

|
Below: Once again, Karen
Duquette got her photo taken with more Monster Truck Drivers after they
signed her banner that she bought at a previous Monster Truck event.
This event has filled up her banner. So in the future, she will have
to have something else for the drivers to sign. |
