Monster Jam Trackside began one hour before the event start time and was featured on the overhead screen: Competition Preview, Driver Interviews, Behind the Scenes with the Pit Crew, Judges Zone Overview, Opening Ceremonies, Giveaways, and Power Rush Truck Introductions.

Below: Jamie Sullivan (Monster Mutt Dalmatian driver) and Karina Encarnacion (Monster Jam Host) stood in the row in front of the two RV Gypsies while their images were shown on the overhead screen for all spectators to see. Karen Duquette took photos of the screen because it showed the two RV Gypsies in their seats behind the announcers.

Below: Everyone was told to turn on the flashlight on their cell phones while the opening ceremony was portrayed on the overhead screen. Then everyone stood for The National Anthem.

Below: The favorite part of the show (according to the two RV Gypsies) was the 2-Wheel Skills Challenge.The two-wheel skills competition was introduced in late 2017. This competition consists of trucks performing their best moves on two wheels for two attempts. They can also choose to perform donuts or cyclones as an alternative. The two-wheel skills winner is determined by attendees voting via a score tracking website. The truck with the highest score at the end of the event wins that particular competition.2-Wheel Skills Challenge banner

The screens below show the judging criteria and scores for the first 4 drivers. But there were two more drivers to participate, and somehow Karen Duquette did not get a shot of the final scores (thus the two empty rows on the screen in the below photo).

It must be noted that the audience voted via their phones. However, it seemed as if the scores were tallied very quickly despite the hugh amount of votes. The reaction of spectators caused wonder on how accurate the scores were, especially since the announcers repeatedly reminded people not to vote for their favorite Monster Truck or driver, but to vote on the performances.
