The
Two RV Gypsies: Full-Time RVers at Linn Run State Park and Adam Falls in the Laurel Highlands just off PA Route 381 in Rector PA 15677 June 15, 2021 |
Linn Run State Park has 612 acres and borders Forbes State Forest. Two small streams, Grove Run and Rock Run, join in Linn Run State Park to form Linn Run stream which has Adam Falls. |
Below: The road into Linn Run State Park and a creek by the parking lot. |

Adam Falls trail is a 1-mile trail, but the two RV Gypsies did not hike the entire trail. They only went to Adam Falls, which only took a few minutes of walking and is said to be the only good thing about the trail. The trail was very rocky and goes by several large boulders. |
|
Below: Lee Duquette took a moment to check out how to get over the big boulders and down to the waterfall. |
|
Below: Adam Falls consisted of a single plunge of about 15 feet down to a shallow, rocky area below. It was hardly worth the effort. |
|
Below; Traveling on down the road in their toad, the two RV Gypsies saw a deer run across the road and into the woods. Then it stopped to look at Karen Duquette and pose for a photo. |
