The
Two RV Gypsies: Full-Time RVers in Ligonier, PA June 14, 2021 |
Below: Low lying clouds |
The two RV Gypsies approached a statue right in the middle of a roundabout. They wanted to turn left, but had to go 3/4 of the way around the roundabout first. But before they could do that, they had to let other cars coming from other directions go first. They thought it was weird. Add of course, cars were waiting to get in line from all directions. It seemed so different from all the other roundabouts- maybe because it was such a small radius of a circle and the statue blocked the views of other cars. |

As the two RV Gypsies crossed a street in Ligonier, PA, Karen Duquette asked the driver of the car below if they could take a picture and he agreed. It was such a unique paint job. It reminded the two RV Gypsies of the decals they had on their HHR and people often took pictures of their HHR. But this car was definitely even more unique. |

Wings
Across Westmoreland is a piece of artwork in an alley across from the
Ligonier Town Circle. It is an amazing art of wings designed by artist
Patrick Mahoney. The wings were inspired by places and memories in Westmoreland,
including the courthouse, The Palace Theatre and other distinctive downtown
sites.

This time it was a mural on a barn with a picture of Abraham Lincoln and depicting the automobile history in relation to the Lincoln Highway. The mural is at 3258 Lincoln Hwy in Stoystown, PA. |
