Located on North Shore Drive in Pittsburgh, between Heinz Field and PNC Park, on the north shore of the Allegheny River, this Memorial honors the lives of those who served, directly and indirectly, in the Korean War. Its position and shape captures the sunlight so that as the sun travels the horizon, columns of light and shadows trace a spectrum of changes. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day when the two RV Gypsies were here. The Memorial was installed on July 27, 1999 by The Korean War Veterans Association of West Pennsylvania.
