map showing location of Miners Falls

After Munising Falls, Lee and Karen Duquette reached Miners Falls via a 0.6-mile gravel path, which led to a lookout point. The stairs led to a viewing platform. The scenic trail to Miners Falls is especially beautiful during springtime, with abundant wildflowers, and also during fall color season. This was a Pet-Friendly area so leashed pets are allowed on the trail.

Location: Miners Falls is situated deep in the Upper Michigan mixed hardwood forest of the Pictured Rocks region, and its water source is Miners River. It is the most accessible of the Pictured Rocks waterfalls.

It is an impressive waterfall and easy to get to. Its source is Miners River. The waterfall drop is 40-feet over a sandstone outcrop, and its crest is 10-feet.
