SPECIAL COMMENTS and PERSONAL OBSERVATIONS OF THE TWO RV GYPSIES

Michigamme Shores Campground had paved roads and the two RV Gypsies have fount that to unusual in campgrounds. Many campgrounds only pave up to the campground office, if even that far.

The second unusual thing about this campground is that a railroad track runs right through the campground. But the two RV Gypsies only heard a few trains go through and it was during the day. But it still does not seem right because of the amount of children in the campground, and there was No guard gate, just a sign.

The two RV Gypsies had a nice grassy site, but they did not get a site on the lake as they requested. They also had unsecured Wi-Fi at their site, but it worked OK. A few TV stations came in but the sound and picture would cut-out periodically.

The water pressure was OK. Pet were welcome, but barking dogs are not tolerated according to the paperwork the office gave to the two RV Gypsies, who do not even have a dog. Yet, on the first morning waking up here, Karen Duquette was woken up by "yapping" dogs.

There was a laundry room open 24 hours, which the two RV Gypsies never use in a campground.

The campground rents canoes, kayaks, small motor boats, pontoon boats, paddle boats, volleyballs, tennis racquets, basketballs and horseshoes, but the two RV Gypsies did not rent any of those items. There was a playground, fish cleaning house, and a beach. No pool or recreation room. Check-out was noon, on this date.

Real Railroad Tracks in the middle of the campground. NO GATES. Just a stop and listen sign. Is this a safe play area for kids? NOT!
