Karen Duquette often wears pre-Halloween outfits to her line dance classes during October each year. Her friends enjoy her humor and the fact that she knows she might be the only one in the dance class in a costume, and she does not care. She just loves making people smile.Below is the front and back of one such outfit (which she would never wear in a real competition - it is just for fun). The skeleton in the back had moveable parts. (Note: In future years, Karen wore this same outfit but painted her face and neck white and completed covered here arms. She improves on her outfits each year, even the ones that are just for fun). |

For the real Halloween contest, Karen Duquette was a skunk and took first prize. The witch was second prize and had a broom that moved around the floor by itself and played music. (Karen would sure love to have that broom). The Leprechaun was third place. Karen's First Place prize was a gift certificate to Outback Steakhouse. The Lion fell in love with the skunk. |

Karen Duquette went trick-or-treating with family that same evening. |

The photo below is of two DIFFERENT children, the two RV Gypsies' great-granddaughter (age 1 year) and granddaughter (age 1-1/2 years old) (mother and daughter) in the exact pumpkin outfit that was saved through the years. (colors are a bit off in the photos). Mother and daughter sure do look alike. |
