The two RV Gypsies parked their RV at the Thousand Trails Campground in Wauchula, Florida and visited several well-known attractions in nearby areas. Thousand Trails was a nice campground with paved roads (a rarity) and plenty of 50-amp full-service sites (another rarity). But only a few cable channels came in on the TV. The pool and hot tub were both very small, but the two RV Gypsies did not use them anyway. The campground Wi-Fi only worked at the office. No washing cars/RVs (which is normal at most campgrounds). The campground had only back-in sites. Check out was noon for RVs. |

While the two RV Gypsies were driving in an area where there is no river, lake, pond, or stream, they noticed a dead alligator in the highway median. The alligator must have been hit by a car, but how did it get there? Actually, the Peace River is in Wauchula, but nowhere near where this road is located. |
