The
two RV Gypsies at Louisville South KOA in Shepherdsville, Kentucky June 2 - 5, 2013 |
|
This was a nice KOA campground. The cable TV had plenty of stations that came in clearly. The Wi-Fi was available at sites, and it was secured, however it was slow to connect to the internet, but once it did connect, it worked OK.The roads were not paved. Karen's favorite part of this campground was the indoor hot tub for adults only. Both the pool and the hot tub closed at 10 p.m. That is one-hour later then most KOA's. The water pressure was pretty good here too. This KOA had a hiking trail that goes alongside a river to a Rock Cave, and the trail was super easy. This is the second time the two RV Gypsies have been at this KOA. |

Below; The River - it was totally still - not moving at all |

Below; The trail ended, so Lee Duquette waited at the bottom of the stairs while Karen Duquette investigated. At the top of the stairs there was a gate that says "private property - beware of dog" and as Karen heard the dog bark, she quickly descended back to the bottom of the stairs. |

Below; So the two RV Gypsies walked past the Rock Cave again and returned to the campground. |
