October
25, 2013 - The two RV Gypsies stopped at PointSouth KOA in
Yemassee, South Carolina for a one night stop. The campground had unsecured
Wi-Fi which was very fast, good water pressure, full hook-ups, and Cable
TV with a great TV Guide channel.
The roads in the campground were dirt roads. A few
trains came by at night blowing their horns, but they were not real
loud. Although it was very close to I-95, the road noise was not bad.
The Swimming Mermaid Coffee House and Wine Bar had wine tasting in the evening at a cost of $6 a person. Laundry open 7 A.M. to 9 P.M. only, same hours as the little office store. It was not a big campground, so be sure to make reservations. Even though it was October, there were no Halloween decorations. |
