What the two RV Gypsies did NOT LIKE here: |
- Passport America made this site only $20 a night |
- without discount, not worth $40 a night |
- pull-thru, 50 amp, full-hook-up site |
- sites are very close together |
- very fast Wi-Fi (but it was unsecured) |
- Trains close by, sometimes blowing their horn |
- good cable TV |
- No pool, but the two RV Gypsies don't really care |
- good water pressure |
- not that friendly at check-in |
- Propane and ice available |
- I-95, so there was road noise |
- Open year round |

The two RV Gypsies stayed one-night at Four Oaks Lodging and RV Resort. This is a campground with a hotel on the same grounds. There were two entrances, and it was almost confusing which one to enter, but the two RV Gypsies entered near the hotel entrance. It was not a very big campground. It appeared that maybe many of the RVs are here long term, and the campground was fairly full. Sites had a very small patio, a picnic table, and a bit of nice green grass. The brochure the two RV Gypsies were given in the office says check-out was noon, but signs in the small office said 11 A.M. check-out at the campground. There used to be a KOA nearby, but it closed about four months ago.Comments made here do not make the campground good or bad in general, they are just statements from the visit of the two RV Gypsies and said date. |
